Can someone pls explain differences in G704,5,6,7,8 tractors. thank you.

G704 is the 4wd version of the Gvi,offered only in 1962. G705 is 2wd and G706 4wd versions of the same tractor. likewise G707 and G708 were the improved versions of the 705and706. Info is from Agco Tractors by Norm Swineford

G704 has a 425 cu.in. engine. 705 and 707 has 504 cu.in. engine. 706 and 708 are front wheel assist versions of 705 and 707 respectfully.

I can confirm the posts below in regard to the 2wd vs FWA. We had a G708. What a pulling power house for its day. Never got it stuck with the FWA where it couldnt get out under its own power if you pulled the pin.
