8n coolant draining issue

Thanks in advance for your thoughts. I want to drain the coolant from the system, but I've got two problems. One, there is not drain on the radiator....I don't know if maybe it's some newer chinese one or something, but easy enough to get around by removing the lower hose.
Two, the drain on the block is locked up.

So, is the best course of action to get that block drain off and hopefully not screw something up there or is there another way to drain everything out?

I've never seen a radiator without a petcock on the bottom to drain, even the cheap one I bought 15 years ago had one but since long gone as I put a restored original back in my 8N. It is difficult to get to and you may have to remove the dogleg to get at it. The engine petcock is brass and are usually hard to open since they've been closed for so long. Try using a Crescent wrench to open the handle with and maybe shot of PB BLASTER or two first letting it soak in for 15 minutes or so. If still no luck, try removing the petcock itself from the block. Know it has an NPT thread so don't try and re-tap the block with the wrong size tap when reinstalling. Removing a manifold stud or two will drain some coolant out as well but won't get the majority of it like the radiator drain will.

I'm not on the coolant work anymore, but I wanted to share this photo of the bottom area of the radiator. I can't see anything hidden drain wise.....Just odd

Freunde, look above that. on my radiator, the petcock is at the bottom of the rear-facing side of the radiator, on the right. it is not in the literal bottom surface of it.
 
Looking again, yes, it is in the rear right side, but it's missing the "wing" to turn it. Thought it was something else when I saw it initially. Well, guess I'll wrench it off next time. Thanks all.
