Anyone have a Timken # for bearing and race for the upper and lower steering shaft bearings on 8N

Well, yes, TIMKEN was a major supplier of bearings and races to Ford. All these parts are shown in the '39-'53 Master Parts Catalog -get one. You don't specify which model year you need, so here are the part numbers:

68-3571-A - Lower Bearing, 2 rqd; 39-47
B-3552 - Bearing Cup, 2 rqd; 39-47
9N-3573 - Bearing Cone; 39-47

8N Parts:
8N-3505 kit w/2 each, bearings and races 48-64 except row crop

Thanks Tim, do have the catalog. As far as specify 8N ASN-216988 Means After Serial Number so that should pin it down, right?
