8N Sherman transmission

I am pulling out a Sherman transmission out of my 8n , it was a cable
shift but the cable itself is no good , I wish to replace it with a straight
shaft due to the cable problem, is there anyone that I can sell it to ?
 
If you want to keep your Sherman, there are two ways to go. Do a search for "Sherman Transmission Shift Cable" on the web and there are several sources that sell new cables. Search for the same in Tractor Parts on this site and they sell it too. Looks like around $60 to $65. Or you can convert the Sherman to the lever style using a kit from Red Rock Manufacturing (see link below) for $115.

Otherwise, there is a buyer for everything. They come up on Ebay occasionally, with good and bad cables. I've bought them there in the past. You can also advertise on this site in the Ads sections.

click on the red tractor symbol then you will see what wayne is talking about.
 
Can't tell the color on the case but appears to be grey. Grey would be a step up which is worth considerably less then a step down. Cables and lever conversions are replaceable as other have said. If selling Ads for this site are on the top left under marketplace. because of the differences in the cases and nose cone in would be harder to change back to original because of cost. Cable replacement would be the cheapest way to go. Here is one of my videos on shermans for details.
