Does anyone remember any details on this tractor? It has been repainted and since it's already not original paint I'd like to put a showroom paint job on it. Funny thing is, after doing some intense pressure washing it's got industrial orange paint under the green. It's orange everywhere, engine, front bolster, rear end, hydraulic housing, steering box, everywhere. It seems to just have 2 layers of paint. Green, which is obviously not factory Oliver green and the paint is not that old, and the orange underneath.
It also has the 24" rear rims with welded in centers, typically a industrial 550 wheel. The rear tires have been replaced with longbar shortbar's, I'm thinking it originally had I-3 industrial tires on it and got tired of their lack of traction and replaced them.
It does have a adjustable width front axle, I don't remember if the early industrial tractors used that before they went to the fixed axle.
I'm really thinking that this is actually a industrial tractor that they used for their experimental repower rather than a row crop.
