My ground drive spreader has started acting up, when spreading it will slip the beater drive chain, grab a notch or two and then slip again. I have it at the shop right now working on it, and noticed that the axle is offset, the pin on the drive side is tight to the hub and on the apron drive side there is a gap. Is there any way to slide the axle sideways? Advice welcome.
