What size rear tires are supposed to be on the rear of my 88 standard diesel? Previous owner has 23.1x30. I have 18" front tires.

16.9 x 30 is one size and 18.4 x 30 is another. I have seen both of those sizes on them. Duane o.

Parts book will list all the available factory wheel options. Some were much more popular than others, but the choices were there for the minorities (if they were a worthwhile fraction of the market).

Early ones have 16.9-26 later ones 16.9-30's and 16 inch fronts on the early ones 18 on the later ones
