Hart Parr pricing info wanted

I have a fellow interested in our old Hart Parr 2850. It's complete but hasn't been moved in 40 years. My question is where would I even start on an asking price for it?

I'll start the conversation by saying don't sell it cheap. There were only 450 of those built according to the serial numbers. They were only built in 1927 and 1928.

Seen two sell on an auction last year they both went for $6500 each, both were complete. One had new fenders and new gas tank. They were not restored and didn't have much if any for original paint left. I don't recall if they were running but for sure could be made to run.

Good to know thank you very much

I have no idea on price, but my grandfather was machinist there during the time that machine was produced.

Maybe 10 years ago I was at a local sale that had maybe 15
of them. I have never seen another one in my life, so I was
pretty surprised to see that many on one sale. Apparently he
had been collecting them many years ago. They were all
rough, none complete. They were bringing $15-2500. Has
yours been inside or outside for 40 years?

It has been outside. I'll take a couple of pictures shortly and post them.
