Big Tee, Have you seen it pull? I have a Yantes tee shirt of that tractor and it reminds me of my White. The 2150 Oliver is an alcohol burner owned by Blanchard pulling team from N.Y. My dairy farmer neighbor from Delhi N.Y. was the first modified I saw as a kid in 1976. His tractor has 3 engines now and his son has a Super Stock IH. Farming and pulling are their life!

Thanks for the pics Greg-Nice looking 2150. No I have never seen it pull. What does the 2150 have for a engine. Son pulled at the NTPA pull 2 years ago at New Hampton Ia. and the class before us was the light supers and was talking to them-had AC-D 21, a Deere and an Oliver and 2 red ones in the class-they all had the IH-466 for power.---Tee

Big Tee, I think a Herc. As you know not much is from an Oliver 2150. Same with the IH 1468 the engine is custom built. Thought I had some pics of my old neighbors 3 engine mod called Bandit. My other neighbor was into Super farm and enhanced with a 9000 Ford and a 7810. You can see them under Blue Hooker pulling on U tube. I'm on Tube under 2012 Oliver 1650 tractor pull but I'm pretty much low budget! Also have the same tractor in 1994 Walton Fair tractor pull but 283 diesel under the hood. I sold the tractor in the fall of 1994 and bought it back in 2011 and found a 1650 gas engine to repower it. Original tractor was a 1555 with a 232 diesel.

I believe I have seen that 2150 pull before I remember the name. I think it could have been at Alexander Steam grounds by us. There is a family in my area that has a few Oliver and Cockshutt 2150 pulling tractors. They are powered by custom built 5.9 alcohol motors.

Greg I watched your video on you tube.

NYOlivers, I have the back blade on her for snow pushing now! It has even put in some farm work. My dad had bought it new in 1973 as a 1555. In 1991 it had a bad rod and my 1650 loader with Reverse O Torc that needed rebuilt. So did an engine transplant was not a direct bolt in even though bolt holes line up for the engine mounts. Thanks for watching!

I cannot wait for tractor pulling season to start!

Greg that's cool that you still have your dads tractor. My father in law just past away, we will be bringing home his 1800 A soon. That's the tractor that started the very strong interest in Oliver tractors for My wife, brother in law and me. The both of them can tell many stories of riding on the fender of that tractor picking corn in snow or working ground in spring for hours on end.

Do you ever go to the steam show in Alexander NY at the end of August/early September?

NYOlivers, I haven't been to the steam show and last year was the first time I had a tractor at a show. The White was the 2nd new tractor my dad bought in 1989. Original paint and decals are faded like me! My dad started farming in 1969 with a 1010 Deere and a JD B that he paid $75 dollars for with a broken bull gear. He traded that B on the 1555 and was our first Oliver. He had retired from the Air Force after 21 years in April of 69. While in the Air Force he had used an Oliver and brush cutter and liked the smooth power. On Ebay an Air Force Oliver was sold a few years ago.

Thats a cool tractor. What are the other tractors you have in your picture?

We should have a NY Oliver get together some time.

NYOlivers, The narrow and wide front Row Crop are 1951 77's and the crawler loader is a 1948 HG. They were all less than 5 miles from my house and non running. I fired the 77 right up yesterday but my 1650 ha a starter problem now. Which part of the state are you in? I'm about an hour from Albany if you drive down I 88.

NYOlivers, I do make it out that way once an awhile. My 1650 engine came from Geneseo. My truck I bought from Crazy Cheap Cars not far from Buffalo in Oakfield. October 30 1994 I saw Joe Montana get whooped on by Jim Kelly and the Bills and I was on the 50 yard line in the stands. At 2:00am that morning I was in a bar and a couple of my friends wanted to go. No one had tickets. We raced out there at 8:00 in the morning and were able to get tickets. Good times with 85,000 screaming fans!

Brent, I'm down to 2 the one quarter horse my dad bought in 1988 to teach my boy's to ride. Well they have never been on her and my dad died in 1991 and my 1st wife moved to South Carolina with the boy's about the same time. The big white work horse was owned by my neighbor that showed up about 2 in the morning. They are a life time commitment! My youngest son has moved back to this area and likes my tractors so maybe he will keep them. I know what your saying about time as my dad was your age when he died and I'm only 6 years younger than you.
