Need color on wheel rim 1855 Oliver

Can 1973

Looking to see what is the correct color for the wheel rim on 1855 Oliver the old paint was gray in color but who knows the correct color from factory thanks

on the silver is there a name to the silver or paint number we have been asking the local dealers and it's all over the board, we just want to get it right thanks

Pulled my 17/18/1955 sales literature, and rims and centers were Clover White. A lot of repainted tractors I see the white is too white, fresh painted Clover White should have a slight
greenish tint.

(quoted from post at 07:59:10 02/21/18) well it's a start this has been pretty hard to mail down thanks for info.
we are just talking about that, funny was looking at some pics and there are a few tractors out there that did have the rear rim and basically the hub that off white clover. We had talked to the dealer here and they said the rim itself was a corporate wheel gray. But I'm starting to believe what your telling me thanks a bunch!!

Scanned the front page and posted to Vintage Ads. Color didn't come out exact, but you can see the axle and hub were Meadow Green, and the rim and center Clover White.

The silver rim is probably an Unverferth replacement. You can call them and see if they will give you the paint code. You'll have to Google them, as the only number I have in my cheat sheet
is the dealer order line. Unverferth Mfg. Kalida OH.

Had a 2255 that was bought new in 1972. It had the power adjuster rims and I could have swore that they were silver. The wedges were silver plated and I think the bolts were silver grade 5.

(quoted from post at 16:47:27 02/21/18) Power adjust rims were silver yes.
that's what these are power rims we just want to make darn sure of the color it will be last part of this project and hoping the last we $10.500 .00 in motor rebuild and paint so we want it right. So thank you and to every person who has responded awesome.

Ya,OK. The dealer was right then. If they say it was some corporate gray or something they're right. Most repaints are just painted silver.

My '75 1655 is pretty much original and has the OEM power adjust. They were repainted white at some point. Much of it has flaked away leaving the original shiny silver underneath. Im assuming the weights were clover white. Let's see if this photo works...
