5100 planter blower issue

have a 5100 4 row i have not used for a couple years. when i got it had the pump on it. i took the pump off and put on a different
planter. decided not to use that planter this year and get my 4 row going again so took the pump back off the splitter planter.
hooked it up to my 4020 and blew a cooler line off. can't hardly get blower to run. seems to me at one point this planter had a
hose from the back of the orbital motor to the valve that adjust fan speed but thats not there anymore. do i need that back in
again? thought with the pto pump i did not need that but can't remember for sure.
checked filter, all good there. someplace i have too much pressure. since the motor turns a little i did not think it the orbital
motor itself but maybe it is.
