Moline called them an "altitude compensator". Can't understand why anybody would think turbocharging a four main longggggg engine is a good idea.

I just picked up a 2155 this summer. I agree, they are quite a chunk of iron. Unfortunately, all I have had time to do is get it home.

Man, that's a lot of tractor for that trailer. That weighs in at about 15,000 the way it sits without water in the tires. Interesting to see the engine oil pump has been converted to external and the hydraulic pump stacked. That wasn't done until after these were built that I know of. It would be nice to have the model #s off those pumps to convert ours. We have one we pull and one we bought of all places, Missouri that needs totally redone. There were only 210 serial #s issue for the 2155 and they may not have all been used. They are a rare bird for sure. We also have a 2-150 that had a turbo added and double disc clutch to handle all the torque.

MKUHNS Bob Ackerman in Highland,WI has 1355 in Oliver colors with cab just like that also on the side panels in front it has a White decal. That 585 is one massive engine.I assume that is a Oliver rear end.Scott

I added a M&W 5020 turbo kit to Paul Grinter's 2155 White back around 1972, (Archie, MO). I have no idea where it wound up. gm

The 2155 is the same as a G-1350. Basically all MM. The G-1355 had the MM front with the Oliver rear end. Both tractors shared the 585 engine.

I didn't have to haul it very far & I took it slow. Thank goodness. I attached a link for a good read on these tractors. Also I couldn't find any numbers on the pumps without removing them. I did get a picture of them last night. Sorry, it was dark when I was out there.

So Kirk you are saying they made two versions of 2155 tractors one all Minnie moline and one like you have with Minnie Moline engine and flywheel back all Oliver design.Scott

I'm pretty sure this is how the models equal out.
MM G-1350 = Oliver 2155. These were all MM built, front & back.
MM G-1050 = Oliver 2055. MM built.
MM G-950 = Oliver 1865. MM built.
Next series:
MM G-1355 = Oliver G-1355. I think it was also marketed as a White 2270. MM built front & Oliver built rear end.
I am not sure on the rest of the models in the MM 55 series. I hope that might clear it up a little.

Interesting that the hydraulic pump is a gear pump. The others I thought were a piston pump like on the olivers. So from the article, there are only 82, 2155's ever made if I read it correctly. We have one with the fiberglass nose and one with the cast grille.

Yep, looks correct. The White 2-150 was also the same chassis as the G-1355's and 2270 with the Minnie engine and oliver over/under, trans/rear.

Kirk any 1350 Molines I ever saw had straight axles just like the first poster talked about on craigslist. The machine you have has planetarys on your axle just like 1355 and all Oliver 2255 tractors.Scott
