Post about new equipment arriving on the farm made me think of what it must have been like when my grandfather took delivery of the Oliver
70 in the fall of 39. Up to that point it been Horses and a silver king. Dad claimed the 70 changed how they farmed and allowed them to do
so much more. You have probably heard my story before about how they ( Granfather, Uncle,and my Dad) Ran this tractor all fall plowing
over 900 acres. So I dug the old girl out of the shed, and the wife washed it up. Thought I should at least post some pics to justify her
polishing it up!
