Oliver 1755 brakes are very touchy

Ok another topic for the 1755. The brakes are very touchy. If i put any pressure on them at all it will lock the wheels up instantly. They have not had any issues releasing but is pretty violent when you press them. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Can you furnish a serial number? There were some changes made in hose brakes. Have you looked at the disks?

My brothers 1755 is the same way. Nothing like our 1650 or 1750. I dont believe they are the same setup as the 50 series. I havent looked at his 1755 brakes to be honest. Ill be interested in finding out why also.

I have not looked at the discs. Serial number is 241 957-676

It looks like I will be pulling the calipers and checking for leaks and the pads shape. Maybe the pads are that bad that there is no slip at all? From what I read the smaller brake lines would cause the brakes not to release as fast. I am pretty sure mine has the larger lines anyway. Thanks for the help.

I forgot to ask you, have you checked the pressure in the brake circuit?
