Been looking for a set of 12.4 by 36 field and road firestones the dealers tell me there are none they tell me its been replaced with the all traction firestones are they any good and do they hook up good tell me the pros and cons.

no tire works well all the time, the new tire works very well most of the time,on some tracks the 151 would be better, can't help with when.I use the
new ones, like the more bars, run worn out tires have good luck.Newer tires seem to like more air pressure.

I liked the old Field and Road tires, have a set of the SATii 23 degree tires on one tractor.
Traction is good but the lugs are narrow and they wear faster.

Firestone still shows the Traction Field and Road but in limited sizes, none for my tractors.

We have guys that use the all traction tires and their claim is its better because they have more bars. Just always seems like the field and road seem to do better. I just wish firestone would keep making them. how do the all traction work for some of your pulls ?

just like all things in life,-- no one answer or solution, air pressure means everything with all tires used in pulling, amount of power, rpms and weight are also huge factors, age of tire, I have some that were hardened,-- I run 10 - 11 #'s,others over 20 #'s.Super all traction work well on most tracks, not on all, amount of tread is big,air pressure is key, using many tires now that didn't work till I discovered the right air pressure.More bars are very good when spinning fast, over 12 - 15 mph ground speed.I have been to areas that use 80% SAT.I have two pair I would not sell for any amount, win a lot.

for years firestone had three grades of tractor rear tires. the cheap one was a field and road the original equipment was the all traction field and road, which has '151' on the side although I never knew why and the premium tire the deep tread.

I had the field and road on one tractor and the other on a second tractor. That field and road was so bad in every way that I would never buy a tractor that had them on as of now. Anything else considered but not a field and road.

I have the Firestone all traction field and road 151's (14.9X28) on my WD45 and are good pulling tire.
