Best way to sell a forklift for parts?

I have an old electric forklift at my school that the wiring is crumbling on. In order to rewire the thing and replace the relay that is stuck it would probably cost more that we can spend on a different used one.

I know some guys like to steal the mast off them and plumb them for tractor use so I don't want to just scrap it.

Does anyone know of a forum like this for older forklifts or have any ideas on the best way to get rid of the thing?

Combo 900 lb drop hammer and wood splitter

You will get the most money by hauling it to a
scrap yard. Even more if you cut it up. I've
hauled home more than 6 (I think) lifts and
stackers for free. If it is 12V, you might be
able to sell the power pack on Craigslist to
someone who needs a pump for a press or small dump
body. Maybe you can sell the whole thing on
Craigslist to someone who needs an elevator.
