Eastwood Mig Welders on Sale

They have a 135amp Mig for $339.99 with free shipping. A 175 amp with spool gun for $539.99. Any idea who makes these for Eastwood? Any experience with them, good or bad?

I was researching that earlier today. Eastwood says that the welders are designed in-house, but manufactured in China to their specs. Has a Tweeco gun, so consumables should be available about anywhere. Didn't check the specs on the 135, but the 175 has an infinite voltage adjustment [not just 4 or 5 "click" settings] for fine-tuning. Never got a straight answer about drive gears/rollers off the boards where I found the discussions...so they may be plastic, or they may be metal...can't tell from the pictures I've seen.

If they're everything they're claimed to be, the prices are pretty good. Lots of comments about the 175 having a 50-amp 220 plug for a machine with a 30-amp draw, but plugs and adapters are out there.

If you find an answer about the drive rollers, let me know.

Don't know that I'll buy one...........I do know I want/need to get a Mig someday and figured that looked like a good price for one.
