what a wife

My wife just presented me with a handful of bolts and 3 paper shop towels, said she washed them and got them nice and clean just for me. (they were in the pocket of my coveralls) she was wondering what all that noise was coming from the washer.

Reminds me of a neighbor one time. He left a tiny little screwdriver in his pocket and it went through one of those little holes in the washer drum. Split the drum and his wife got a new washer out of it.

Yep, my wife just washed my sweat, salt stained dirty baseball hat for me today. I dident even ask her to do it!

What would we do without a good wife, been married to mine for almost 51 years and have never been sorry I married her.

The solution is simple. I never take a shirt or pair of pants off without emptying the pockets first.

However, a couple of years ago, we had to have a service call on our washer for making a strange noise my wife threw a fit over. Seems a toothpick was stuck in the pump. I never put toothpicks in my pockets---my wife does.

I left a few fish hooks in the hem of my t-shirt one day and forgot about them when I got home from fishing. You would be amazed what they can do to a load of laundry. Couldn't even get a good shop rag out of the deal.

not married,[moms, gotta love em] my mother would do my laundry when she was down stairs doing her clothes. never could figure why she would say thanks, [i thought it was the other way around saying thanks]. she would keep the money from my pockets. she looking down on me now and saying, "dummy check your pockets". i keep finding money in the dryer. lol

My wife was washing the bed sheets last week she also washed the TV remote. She removed the batteries and let it dry it works good just hard to read the numbers as they are completely washed off.

A few years ago there was a neat story going around on the Internet about a mother accidentally seeing her little boy adding money to his clothes pockets as his mother told him they would go out to eat when there was enough for a meal.

Widowed mom or single mom, I forget which.

Distant acquaintances of my girlfriend, back in the seventies, had a marriage that was pretty shaky to start with and getting worse. The last straw was when she washed an ounce of "special herbal smoking mixture", along with the tie-dyes and the bell-bottoms. He filed for divorce immediately, but I bet the real cause was not mentioned in court.

I had a pair of camo pants that I had worn hunting sitting on the back of the chair drying. Wife put em in the dryer. She even asked me about them and I said go ahead that I had cleaned out the pockets. Yep. You guessed it. .22 shell got stuck in the seam in the pocket. POW! Dent in the side of the dryer. Didn't come through. Don't know if it was the heat or if it hit something, but it sure scared the hell out of us!!!
