Seeding Bluegrass

Our lawn has gone to seed a litle over a week since it was mowed. How long does the seed have to mature before it will reseed the lawn after it is mown? The lawn could always get thicker. I really am not trying to put off the task of mowing.

It's likely not the bluegrass that you think it is. When hot weather comes, annual bluegrass goes to seed!

That going to seed needs to be left alone till fall then it mite be good enough for seeding. Just go buy some good seed the growing season for Bluegrass has passed till late August
