been there done that! carried one of those steel thermoses for quite a while that i ran over with a d2 cat.stopped in the shade for a break and left it setting on the track. made it kind of hard to get coffee out of,but it still worked.

Yeah , BTDT, LOL ,.. Maybe your sandwicch is still good , and the apple , maybe not so good for the orange or bannana ,, chips ouht to still eat , but they are cruched for sure.. just be glad you didn.t run over something expensive or Worse a Wonderful BEATING HEART ,,. Stay safe, GoD BLESS

BTDT!! Had a nice Thermos brand 1 qt SS, Bush Hog 307 at PTO speed did it in!! Made a heck of a racket for a couple seconds!!

Had a bad spell yesterday! Made some blocking/cribbing out of White Pine a few years back, (8"x8"x24"). Left one sitting on top of the discbine. Didn't hurt the discbine, but it took a couple of minutes to dig the kindling out of the hay to take home to the OWB! Definitely better than a rock! BTDT too!

DELTA RED: #1...I don't believe I'd have TOLD that story...especially on yourself. However...since you did...THANKS for sharing it.

#2...Did you immediately LOOK around to see how many witnesses you had??

As others have indicated...we've all BTDT at some time or other OR will some time in the future.

Rick

Don't feel bad. I ran over a Stihl 361 chainsaw with a Ford F650. The really bad thing is I set it next to the truck so I would'nt run over it with the trackloader.

Baling hay, little gust of wind, hat blew off and sailed straight into the baler, without even touching the ground! I coulda tried that a thousand more times, and couldn't have duplicated it.

To add insult to injury, wife found it in a bale that winter, brought it in and hung it on "my" hat hook. Thanks for the memory, dear. . .

BTDT only I did it to a brand new Crafstman toolbox that I pickedup that morning. IH TD9 won and I had to pry open the box. LOL

..since everyone is confessing..I had a new pressure washer sitting in front of my new truck. A neighbour came in and we decided to drive back the lane and check the bean crop..jumped in put it in drive and went right over the pressure washer..it actually survived pretty good, gouged by the gravel and a few creases but it still works 15 years later!

Bought a brand new steel themos before getting laid off in 81. Never used it. Set on self in back room till went to work parttime for county this spring. Was running a roller and heard my themos fall over at my feet. Reach down to set it up and cap was gone. Looked behind the roller and there it was very very very flat.

I have a thermos just like that, creases and all, except it is blue, courtesy of an 856 with duals. Still works, just doesn't like to stand up...

I have a wheeled battery charger that got ran over a couple years ago. I unhooked it from the battery, set it off to the side, and took off while forgetting that the mower conditioner behind me was wider than how far over I sat the charger.

It still works OK, but the wheels no longer roll. DOUG

I ran over my wallet last year with the 4020 pulling a bushhog. I was making my second pass, I saw some plastic cards and thought that looks out place. When I left for the day, I checked the truck (thats were I usually put any valuables) and couldn't find my wallet. I thought for a second and I knew exactly were it was. Only had to replace drivers licsense, the visa credit card didn't have a scratch.

You could have just called home and stated you did not like the lunch she packed for you! This unnecessary roughness toward Thermos products is over the top!

steve do all Americans give their sandwiches compression test? canada did a study and found it was not nessary but quebec might be doing it i heard they have alot of flatbread sandwiches there

I did the same thing to mine with my car at work. My door was frozen shut so I set the lunch box down and went around the other side of the car to get in the passenger door. Well, I forgot the cooler and took off. I ran over it with the car and dragged it two miles to the gas station before I noticed it was caught under there dragging. My lunch items were still in there! It had a nice hole worn in it. I did get a new one. I was sad because I've had it for almost 30 years.
