I found a 1947 Leader Tractor. It is a couple of hours from me. I don't know a lot about Leaders.
What is this tractor worth in decent shape? I hate to drive 2 hours for an over priced tractor. Or it might be a deal. I just have no clue what Leaders are worth? Never seen one.

A collector tractor and nice and small to move but should be priced under $2,000. Made just outside Cleveland, Ohio. Club just for them.

You don't say where you are...a lot of tractor prices vary greatly depending on area and what's popular or rare in that area.

I have a 1949 Leader model D that I got as part of a package deal here in Colorado a few years ago. Estimate the tractor portion of the deal was probably on the order of $1,000. Runs, drives, needs a little sheet metal work and tires. They don't seem to come up for sale very often, so kind of hard to set a firm value.

A fellow in my area is the largest known collector (over a dozen). They are collectible tractors but not great for practical work. They were made up of generic parts. All were well known and high quality pars but the result was not a practical tractor for everyday work.
