2011 corn pics

Here are some pics my wife took of me of the 2011 corn field as it is progressing throughout the month of July. It is Dekalb 100 day triple stack corn. It was planted May 19, 2011. The one picture is of my tape measure trying to measure the corn from the ground to the top of the tassel. It measured 10' 1" (121"). I couldn't believe this! WOW!

Good for you. Enjoy it while you can. Around here the corn got nice and tall but, right now you can see right into the fields as it all dries up. We need rain real bad. I doubt the corn harvest will be any good here.

Nice stuff. Up here there is anything from six inch to six feet. Have alot of aquaculture this year. Heard U of M is working on a pontoon strain.

We have stuff around from a foot to8 feet or so. Some of the early corn is almost done and doesnt look that great at all.
