7 DAY FORECAST

Only good thing is you don't have the humidity we do, we run 100% humidity here in Illinois. But it probably doesn't matter when you hear 107* you think HOTTTT!

Yep, 107 @3PM and I just called it a day, tried to quit at lunch. Of coarse, I just piddle around.

The only thing that"s good about this, no mosquitoes and I live in Mud Creek bottom. When there"s no mosquitoes in Mud Creek bottom, need to call "believe it or not" people.

Yes I am in Okla and this is the most miserable summer I can remember. And I don't recall a drought like this either. I wonder how long these temps will last. The drought is taking a toll I know many areas are in bad shape. Floods in places and drought in others plus the heat. The wheat is going to be drilled in the dust it looks like.

just got done fighting fire at quartz mtn in ok... 107 and climbing a mountain with 200 ft of hose. used the hose to spray myself down instead of the fire. rocks were hot-have to resole my boots. cedar trees went up like they were soaked in gas. ready for any kinda moisture

I believe it's safe to say. that even the folks
in the wet/cold states are pray'en for relief
in the form of rain for your region. This
weather is getting beyond scary...

Seldom gets over 100 here- but we had a freak weather occurence last year, it hit 108 one day. I can't imagine how you could function in that kind of heat- only time it has ever been as hot in the shade as it was in the sun, it seemed like.

Sure hope for some relief for you folks soon- can't imagine the Guernseys are enjoying it very much, either. . .

You don't even want to know what the weather is like here.

92 degree at 10PM official high was 111 degree
Going to mow third cutting of irrigated hay tomorow not as heavy as usual. Will keep pumping. Son just came in from checking irrigstion in another field. Soon as hay is baled about 2 inch of water with fertiizer will go on that field. Then another watering should make another cutting. Yes it costs money but so does the weed hay that will be baled. Neighbor has 90 acres of Johnson Grass to bale and will sell for $50 a bale

I'm a winter welcoming Wisconsin wuss. I hate the high temps and high humidity. Was outside for maybe 2 hours Sunday cutting dead pine limbs in the woods. Wife asked why I dumped a bucket of water over myself. (I didn't)

Hate to say it, but it's been raining so much here I can't get out to fix the ruts in the forestry roads. If we could, I'd send a lot of our moisture down to all ya'all.
