Ok, Perhaps it is just me, but I really wonder why people do not put good location info in their event descriptions in the event calendar. Sometimes it is just some clubs name, some time it is a county name. SHEEEET, I cannot name or locate all the counties in my home state much less anywhere else. If you want people to attend, they need to find your event, and the easier the better.

I have even seen this on some club's homepage/website.

WHEN,WHERE,WHAT - pretty basic I think.

I found if you Google a few words you can find some if you know where they may be.

Thanks for reminding me I almost missed this one

I Googled for Brownsville show in Pa and got this.

Yea, I have noticed that. Also, Sometimes I find several listings, flyers or a web site about a show and they have different dates on them but none have the year on it. After digging around I find out some of them are two or three years old. I have noticed that a lot of clubs rarely update their sites which makes it hard to sort the new info from the old.
Some of the local shows I know of are what I call "Stealth Shows" because the only way to find out about them is word of mouth. Every spring I always try to put a list together of shows in my area but it's like pulling teeth trying to gather info about some of them.

A lot of them do not even give you what state they are in. All need to give a state, city, and street address (Not just a location of intersection to intersection) as map driving directions I can't get the directions to with just an intersection, have to have a street number with name. And then like was said year as well as month, Have seen things that skipped that, plus not only date but day of week. Also admission as for some of us that is important as cannot afford to get in once we make it there. Some of us are poor but still like the stuf.

Great point, too many people have forgotten the W's. Don't know why so many assume that their's is the only Farm Park at Podunk Junction in the U.S. and Canada. Also need to use FULL DATE including YEAR as too much old info floating around on internet (my fault, but have been burned twice over several years by going to a show that was held a week ago, grrrr!).

I had forgotten about the date, but you are right, that is often missing or incomplete.

I wonder if YTmag could add a specific field for location? I don't think there is one now.

Hope some people will see this and learn!!!!!!
