can't get rid of it when the whim passes??????? Thought this old M101 army trailer with a 600+ gallon water tank on it would be the savior for filling water tanks on the pasture when the ground was too soft to move them (just pull up on the access road and run a hose/pump them full) Good idea but proved to be a PITA... Paid around 200 bucks for it.
Decided to sell it again and had it on ebay the third time now and nobody wants to bid over 30 bucks for it. Guess I'll modify a little to make it more user friendly and keep it.
Put a wagon on also and it just don't move.... Real good wagon but I guess the wood running gear is a turnoff to folks that really need to use a wagon and the 2 axle is a turnoff for the hobby folks (reason I am selling it). There is an oldtimer show weekend after next and I'll make up a couple flyers for the wagon to take along.

Done now....

Usually those are the things I lose money on. I quit going to garage sales and auctions for a reason. Pretty much everything I ever bought at a garage or barn sale ended up in my garage or barn......

Took me awhile, but this is the sealer..... The wagon was free, so I'll notloose anything by giving it away to someone that will get some use out of it. don't want to see it junked or parked in a field as a sign holder.
Shouldn't have even taken it but the guy was getting on my nerves... It'll be gone soon one way or the other.
I've been avoiding weekend sale papers pretty good also.

OK my memory is not so good. Is the M101 the Jeep trailer, or more correctly pulled behind a M151. Or are those the ones we used to pull behind the 2 1/2 tons. I thought those were M105.
I don't think a M151 (a very loud Ford) could pull a 600 gal water tank (or at least stop it). Didn't we call those trailers with drinking water on them water buffalos ? 1985 and Third Armoured Division are getting longer ago each year

It's a 101 trailer (3/4 tom I think). The tank is a fiberglass tank setting in the back. If I could find waterbuffaloes, they'd stay here. Trailer has the floor rusted some, thinking to take the tank off and just try selling the trailer as/is.....

Yeah, STUFF, alright, and almost 28 years later, neither of us has been "man enough" to do anything about!

I'm not sure why you didn't like the 2 axle wagon, single axle
wagons are a big pain to unhitch when loaded, 2 axle just pull the
pin and drop it.

We've got one single axle wagon we use for some farm use but
9/10 it sits and we find some other way to do the work, pickup,
loader bucket, etc.

Do you have a pickup hitch on your tractor or something? I know
those are popular in Europe.
