Wild idea - Chroming

I was driving home tonight and was thinking about crazy things to do with tractors. Could you chrome an entire tractor? I figure most would be pretty easy. The only tough parts would be the block and rear end.

Now the question of why. I have no idea. My mind was just wandering.

there is a paint that comes close...saw a custom harley painted chrome---think the product was cosmichrome? spelling--looked pretty good. still expensive.

Not quite the same but as you may know the 9N Fords came from the factory painted a dark Gray.
I always thought it would be fun to strip every bit of paint off of one and clear coat the whole tractor. People might not realize it had no paint untill they were right on top of it.

you will need to add more cores to radiator...chrome holds heat...old outlaw runnin buddy of mine chromed his '52 Panhead...had 4 oil coolers on it and still ran hot.

driving and wandering,,hum,,,just a bad as driving and texting. lol too much time on you hands...would look cool if could be done....

Back to the original question, anything can be customized with enough work and money. What would be time consuming with a project such as this would be prepping the metal. The castings would have to be ground and/or sanded smooth in order to get a smooth chrome finish.
