Nice day here in NE Texas.

Temperature at noon is 80o and winds NNE at 15 to 20 mph.

Great Pic there James !

BIG 10.... those that would like to put bullet holes in my flag, can expect lead in their direction as well. We were taught shoot to kill to defend it and there was a day in my life it was legal to do so.

I just imagine most people will--If they are lucky enough to HAVE A JOB!!!!
Just a shame that this country's mess was caused by politicians and they can't dream up a fix!!! At least most of them still have a job!!

I assume by fire? It's really bad right now, almost unbelievable. Nothing down here in the RGV, but we had lots and lots of smoke this AM from the fires up that way. This is a wonderful state we live in and it sure hurts to see nature taking so much of it away.
Continue to pray for rain!

We in this country, and I myself, have to keep reminding ourselves how good we have it. We have very many things to be thankful for, not the least of which is the good wishes of folks here on this forum whom we have never met, yet wish the very best for us. It is this that gives us the strength to get up each day and work to build a better and better future, for ourselves, and for our neighbors. Our country is facing some hard times, I have come upon a spell of hard times, but there is no place or no time I would rather be. I have no doubt we will continue to build a better and better place for ourselves and for our neighbors.

Sorry RND. That's a really bad fire. We have one 20 miles west of me in Magnolia. It has burned about 500 acres and 20 homes thus far, but they don't have a good handle on it either. At least the wind has died down.

We routinely put a flag on a tractor and park it on the hill for holidays. Don't have a flag pole at the farm or would have a flag up all the time.

I have small (3 in. x 5 in) flags on the corner posts of my pasture here in Dallas.

I would not take it lightly if someone tried to ventilate my flag.
