Just had to try HF's blade sharpner. They had it on sale for $50 and I used A 20% OFF coupon. It worked far better than I expected. I sharpned enough blades that I could throw the sharpner away, go buy another and still be money ahead. What a surprise.
30+ years ago, I purshased a craftman radial arm saw and got 2 chrome-nickle-moly blades with it. No carbide tips. They cleaned up and work great. Wish I could find more old school blades. Doesn't take any time to sharpen blades.
The sharpner uses a diamond wheel and it will sharpen carbide tips too. $10 for replacement diamond wheel. They have diamond on both sides. I couldn't tell that I even used the diamond wheel. I give this tool a thumbs up.
I'm sure some of you will give HF a single finger up and it won't be a thumb
