o/t pepe le pew, HELP!!!!!

Don't know if you can find it, but our vet used to sell "skunk away". It was a spray in a bottle similar to nasal spray. Just spray it on their coat and rub it in. It was supposed to have a substance to neutralize the chemical in the skunks spray that made the odor. It really worked good, used it numerous times.

one quart peroxide, add 1/4 cup baking soda, then teaspoon of dawn dish detergent will bubble. wipe down dog and suds up....rinse off then wash with dawn only. works really good--don't get in dogs eyes.....my english mastiff has found most of the skunks around my place and that is a whole lot of dog to stink.

I knew of a case where a dog was bathed with soap detergent (kitchen) and went blind right then! don"t know if it"s true ,but I knew the two kids, And they confermed it !! just my .02 cents worth

What elmers said. it's a 3% hydrogen peroxide, not the beauty shop stuff. Mythbusters confirmed it. Second best is a bath with tomato juice.

I had a vet recommend Summers Eve however it"s pretty expensive so I just use generic tomato juice which works pretty good.

This works great! I used it last week on my dog and it is a lot better than any other remedy I ever tried.
