An elderly priest had been feeling a little burned out so when a fine Sunday morning presented itself he decided to skip mass and have a young priest fill in for him.
He reasoned that such a fine day was intended for golf and that on a Sunday he would have the course almost to himself so he went golfing.
On the very first hole he teed up and hit a hole in one. He was ecstatic. Second hole the same only instead of happy he was very depressed. After all he had hit back to back holes in one---there were no witnesses----and for the rest of his life he could tell no one of skipping mass to play golf.
