A first for Me!! What an experience!

I tried my first zipline two weeks ago at Meramec Caverans in Stanton Mo. I highly recommend this. It was my idea along with some of my classmates from the class of 1978 so I had to go first off the first 40ft tower. That first jump is exhilarating but worth ever penny. After you do the zipline visit Jesse James Hideout in the cave. The zipline and cave tour are both well worth it. A nice way to spend a Saturday or Sunday. I wanted to post these pictures sooner but never had time.

I'm not sure why my captions on each picture didn't post, oh well. Sorry for the double prints on the pictures. It's been a while since I posted any pics on here. Hope you enjoy them. If you know of any other ziplines be sure and let me know folks!!
 
Looks a bit safer than what my brothers used to do on the farm. Strung a nylon rope from the barn to the shed and had a large S hook that they hung from. Took them a while and a few falls to figure out what worked and what didn't for this. Also crashed into the pole on the shed a few times.

I could never get up the courage to do it.

There is 1 at Kinmundy, IL. I don't know much about it, but there is a lot of "ROPE COURSE" type stuff.
