Can you buy this in the states

My son that lives in Germany sent me a picture of Jack Daniels and Coke pre mixed in a can. Said you can also get it in bottles.

Have never seen any thing like this for sale in the states and I live in a area where the bars are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The folks at Jim Beam market something like that awhile back...and the taste was nothing short of VILE. I believe the soda lost its carbonation befoe the concoction was canned...and flat cola is NEVER a good thing. But I learned my lesson.

Taught me that it's wiser to just buy my own whiskey and my own cola, and mix my own...because the results are more controllable.

Like Buzzman said, that's one thing I like to do myself. Don't remember any pre-mixed drink that was really satisfying. Used to tell my kids, why do you spend that much on "coolers" when you could buy a pint and 2 liter and mix your own for a lot less.

It is/was made over here, in bottles & labeled "Hard Cola". Ya know, I'm not going into a lot of detail about my experiance with the stuff, but it goes down like soda. A case & a half later, you'll go down like the Titanic. %$#@%$#, my head hurts thinking about it!

(quoted from post at 07:04:10 10/08/11) 10% alcohol....that would make one can the equivelent of about 3 beers?

That's why your blood's all screwed up..Gotta get you some real beer

These things seem to go bad quick (short shelflife) for some reason........ Prolly why you don't find them around you.a soldier will drink anything so they ship it all over here and/or sell it in the class VI stores on post in the states.....

Yep, you can most certainly buy that in the states. They are alright, but if im not going to drink it straight I would like to mix it myself.

My Uncle went Scotland and visted a distillery. They told him never put soda in good whiskey, just a little water. My son gave me a big jug of good bourbon for my birthday.I wont use any soda, just straight up on ice.

I believe Jim Beam also had a cola and wiskey product. The can was mostly white IIRC.

Both Jim and Jack were bad though, the cola was so cheap it ruined it for anything other than a buzz. Sure was handy though, especially in the states that have those drive through windows. Sure its cheaper to get a 12 pack of pop and mix it yourself but who hasnt popped open a can and started pouring in the booze just to hit a bump and spill in your lap. Im sure the premixed cans were invented just for road trips.

They call it alcopops, the stuff the young ones drink to wipe themselves off. Here in OZ we have innumerable idiots who partake to excess and it has become a big problem. The Govt. in their wisdom just increased the tax on it to try and bring the excesses under control.the theory being if it is made expensive they won"t drink it. who are they kidding.
