drawing programs or websites??

any of you headscratchers have a favorite program (preferrably something online) that you use to draw your ideas??? Nothing fancy, just a way to put something together and be able to save it, modify as brainstorms hit, etc...

Thanks, Dave

Don't know if you have access to it, but Autocad is a good CAD program. There may be some older version programs out there that can be bought reasonably and you'll have a more powerful program than some of the cheapies out there.

Corel Draw is one of the most powerful and also the easiest to learn.

Plays well with Adobe Photoshop and other draw software.

Older versions take less computer and really work just as well imho.

I am an engineer and have used the latest version of Autocad and Corel all day every day for the last 16 years.

Autocad is a very powerful tool and has made me have to draw everything before I build it, usually in 3D. It has also decreased my geometry skills since I draw it and measure it instead. You should be able to find a student version to use, but I will worn you, for someone just jumping into it might be a bit complicated.

I usually draw items in autocad then open it in Corel to apply the coloring and graphics. I create all the trophy plaque designs, banners, website, and show flyers for our tractor club. Here is last year's plaques I did. I drew the emblem in Autocad, then colored it and added all the other graphics in Corel.
