diesel compression

maybe on a worn out two popper , but i still dont think it will run on 270 psi. would not even start on diesel.

It's not the psi that ignites the fuel. It's adding enough energy to the combustion chamber air. So the air is hot enough to ignite the fuel when the droplets mix with it.

it's a 6.0 ford . run when parked with water problem. sent out to be repaired . heads checked came back ok. put head gaskets in and put back together. wont start. sent injector out to be checked 1 came back bad. still wont start. should of ran on 1 bad injector. now there saying it dont have enough compression to run. dont know if they did something wrong or what.all i know was it ran when i parked it.

what kind of water problem? if it"s had any coolant in cylinders it"s probably bent rods, compression will drop drastically.

Hello 2x4,
I guess that is a typing missfire
There should be a 1 in front of the 8 as in 18 to 1?
Guido.
