Finally broke down and bought a new digital camera, what difference from the old one. Now I need to figure out all the buttons and bells. Also have to replace the rusted out rim on the H, so it was my captive subject today

Great picture and that is a good safe way to jack and block the old beast up.
Just a sugestion - I hate metal to metal, So I cut up an old truck mudflap to about 4" squares to go between the jack and tractor

Questions, questions.

That's Bedford County, farms border the Juniata River.

Usually I put a block of wood between the support and the tractor (like under the hydraulic jack here), but in this case the housing had a small hump right there and the jack has a hollow top that fit it perfectly so I wasn't worried about it slipping.

Camera is a Panasonic DMC-FZ150, it's supposed to take really nice video as well as good still pictures but I haven't tried taking video yet. Was thinking of getting a digital camcorder but decided that for my occasional YouTube purposes this would do (and it has be be a whole lot better than the old one). I wanted to wait until the megapixel race ended; interestingly this model is 12MP, it follows the FX100 that was 14MP but Panasonic decided the picture quality was better at 12 for the new model. Didn't plan on spending that much, but a company I used to work for surprised me with a small bonus for a patent so I splurged. I love the way the lawyers wrote up the patent application, you can get online help from a computer program directly to the brain???
