Massey Ferguson 383 hour meter

I have a Massey Ferguson 383. It is a great tractor but the hour meter is not working. The tach is registering the RPMs and all of the gauges are working. The hour meter is just not turning.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

It has the hourmeter as part of the tach right? Unless you're really
good with precision stuff just replace it.

My MF35 hour meter (in the tach gauge) doesn't work either... Added an electric hour meter so I would have some indication of hours... [hour meter on tach states that it is X number of hours @ certain RPM]... I like the electric because it runs when the engine is running regardless of RPM... Gives more frequent oil change interval, but I think that will extend the life of the engine... Just my $.02...
