JD,
We were wondering if you took up the project of making your own leather holsteers for your hand guns?
Victor is looking at a company (NOT MADE IN CHINA, LOL)That will ship to you a holster, cross straps, and clip holders, that you form, assemble and hand stitch a a very reasonable cost.
To purchase a complete shoulder holster (right hand draw) with two clip holders, runs in the neighborhood of $100.00 to $200.00, not counting S+H.
We've read on it some on the internet about making one, it didn't seem too hard, but figured with all of your various knowledge, maybe you have undertaken such a project. If you did, a pictue of your accomplishments would be nice, and appreciated, along with the amount of time it took you to complete.Any helpful suggestions yours and others would be appreciated.
Just trying to save money, and have a good conceal carry holster, plus it's made in America.LOL..
We looked at both holsters for our other revolvers,we bought after the purchase of the guns.A little pricey, but well worth it at the time.
Now that Wi. has conceal carry law, most like us don't intend to shove the pistol in their pants
pocket, ladies have to carry in handbags, with the danger of having them lost or ripped off.My 380 is able to be pocket carried, but the 45 has a 6" barrel, and is not codusive to shoving something that big in either the front or rear of ones pants. We seen a lengthy video of one, making a holster,he did a beautiful job, but has a hand stitching machine of about $1000.00 new for a cheap one,not going into the holster business for us to consider such a outlay in funds.
What do you think JD?
We value your opinion.
Warmest regards,
LOU & Victor.
