Brittany Is Improving.

Vet gave him two shots 6 hours apart and I gave him the third. About 20 cc's of steroids each time. This morning he was walking on three legs instead of two and a half. He is in no pain, doesn't seem to realize anything is wrong. Eating and drinking like crazy.
Thanks for all the replies. It sure helps to have someone to talk to about things like this as I live alone in the country.

So glad to hear about your dog. Mine is my best friend and traveling companion. He gets really excited when I say the word farm. I have been to South Dakota pheasant hunting 3 times. We buy our lisences in Waterford, then proceed west to Turton, pop. 61. When you live in the country in S.D. you are really out there. I live in Louisville, Ky. but as we speak we are building a house on the farm, 55 acres up the Ohio river from Cincinnati on the Ky side. Don't give up on your baby, best of luck, Ellis

good deal! Mine got to be pretty much another one of the kids.went with us everywhere,and to tell the thruth was probably less trouble!LOL
