name that tune

James is correct. "House of the Rising Sun" That song is older then the hills, Ive seen a ton of variations in the melody of course. The Animals (Eric Burdon) had the big sixties hit and its the first song I taught my son to play on the guitar when he was 12. The thing is even if youre a beginning player if you roll slowly through those chords A minor C F etc or however it goes, it sounds like youre a "real" guitar player. But after 6 months the son blew my doors off so I quit playing guitar, hes played over twenty years now and hes playing on Beale Street in Memphis (see vid below, but Ive posted it here before)

Keep up the harp music Larry, sounds good

The son on Beale Street in Memphis

Larry,

I see the F for Fender on the body and the Fender name at the upper end of the neck. That's really a resonator guitar (some call them Dobros after the Dopera Bros who invented them) and note he's playing it with a slide over a finger. Some call that "slide guitar" style. A bit like a steel or Hawaiian guitar.
