In an effort to save you from
1) wasteing good rum
2) becoming an alcoholic
3) getting a DUI or worse
4) etc, etc, etc.....

Go to someplace like TSC and get you a bottle of the Absorbine Vet Gel for about 10 bucks and try it. Bet you'll like it.... and it smells nice too...... If you are really hurting all the time, get you a tub of MSM in the same section and dose it to your weight.

Brought to you by the supporters of a raisin free rum.......

I have found that a product called Uflexia which is injected into the knee joint works very well, as an alternative to alcohol. There are those who are certain that alcohol is bad for your health. Uflexia is administered in a series of three shots and most insurance plans will cover it twice a year. It enabled me to go for three years with no cartilage before getting a replacement knee.

Euflexxa, generically named as sodium hyaluronate, as are Hyalgon, Orthovisc, and Synvisc. Hyalgon was a series of five injections, Orthovisc and Synvisc are series of three injections. I have been using them for about seven years now. the last few years they have been working for about a year before I need another series.

WE will have to try that Dave..
My better half uses "Icy Hot" like its going out of style. If what you say works more so like her product.. maybe greater savings in product volume per container. Probably labeled for animal use only< But I use Bag Baum for many years for many things.

Today I get my third shot of the three shot series thing. My first series was 1-3/4 years ago. No DUIs, but I have a lot of good luck.

I have an appointment Jan. 4th with an Orthoscoptic sergeon. The pain is getting worse every day. It started the day before Thanksgiving. I have to have a cane to walk now. Hope it's simple.

I had a bad knee and hobbled into the Dr.'s office on crutches. I
exited waving my crutches. He gave me a shot of some
concoction of his and it replaces the fluid in the joint where the
gristle has worn away. Supposed to last for awhile. Mine has
lasted 5 years and still going.

He did one of my hands also. Couldn't close my fist any tighter
than to grasp a lemon and lots of pain. He shot one hand that
did it first and it immediately healed and then the other did it.

But by then he quit hands and just did joints, kept plenty busy,
so I did what I usually do and got out my alternative medicine
catalogs and looked up Glucosamine Complex & Chondroitin
Sulfate...you see a lot of MSN in the store but this is better...has
the Chondoritin.

Took them twice a day at twice the suggested dose and in about
a month the second hand was functioning normally. Since, if
either acts up, I just get out the GCC and dose up for a few days
and when it goes back to working I quit.

HTH. One doesn't have to live with joint pain. The Dr. was a
board certified Orthopedic Surgeon. The pills were from a
respected internet alternative medicine pill house.

HTH,

Mark

I tried them all with little help. I even was at the stage that I was pricing a "Sedgwick." Went over to Mayo Clinic and had both knees replaced, one in January and the other in June. I have had them for over five years now and I could walk across the state and my knees would not hurt. Two things that they are very careful about is blood clots and infection. I would not have suffered as long as I did if I had it to do over again. If anyone needs any information my e-mail is open.

Dave some of use have conditions that all the snake oil in the world is never going to help do any thing but make us waste more $$$ plus since when sis you get your medical degree you know practicing medicine with out it is not legal

and some are just professional/career criples that depend on pain for a living..... sometimes it's hard to tell which is which....... I just shared something that works for me and don't really give a rats a$$ if you use it one way or the other.....

Have a Merry Christmas.

Dave

GOOD for you Dave2, well said. The only complainer seems to be the one that rebuilds, repairs, and owns multiple tractors, and yet sticks his head in the Government feed trough for us taxpayers to take care of. Tom

1) Will try it Dave as TSC is "close" to Hooters.
2) Never have used Vet Meds before except for Bag Balm - and now they droop.
3) I don't waste the Rum - just add more raisins to it, er slurp the gravy.
4) Just take the "elixor" at night and have a good movement in the morning.

Yer phriend, Jim

PS: Am always worried about these Overseas remedies.

Wife took a couple years of classes/seminars for holistic medicine (??) for animals..... Whole bunch of alternative stuff out there that doesn't cause side effects (as bad anyway), break the bank, or cover symptoms instead of fixing the problem.......

Now.... When you get it, you'll find that it smells like wrigley's spearmint gum.... Put just a touck on yourself afore going to hooters and you'll get plenty of attention........ As for working, if it'll make a 1200 pound horse comfortable, it oughta work for us just fine.......
