M-R-S Tractor Info

I got this tractor with some other tractors I bought recently. I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on any place I can find some info on it or someone who has info on these tractors. The tractor has the cummins engine in it but I do not know where the serial tag is located to get the model or size of the tractor. The tractor runs and everything functions as it should, previous owner had bought it new but the family did not know the size and could not find any manuals or info on it that their dad had on it. Trying to decide whether to add it to the collection or sell it, I am not into the larger 4WD tractors as far as collecting. If anybody would have any estimates on the value, it would greatly be appreciated.

Harold H, who reads and posts over on the Farmall Board has an interest in MRS equipment. For many years, the company only purchased IH components, or at least engines.

Harold can also be found on the Red Power Magazine Forum.

Harold may have sold MRS when he was employed at an IH dealership in the Delta that sold alot of rice and cotton equipment.

Any chance of getting a picture of the rear of the tractor? That is one awesome tractor with a heavey dozer blade! Is it 4-wheel steering or articulated? As heavey as the dozer blade is I wonder what equipment is on the back(loggers winch and boom, 3 PT, or straight drawbar). How many hyd. remotes? Don't sell! Use it and enjoy! It will be a conversation piece at the shows. Where are you located? Thankyou for the picture! Armand

That is a beauty! I wouldn't let it go, but I can understand it not fitting it. There is very little info on MRS tractor out there. Check what others have mentioned above and there was also an article on the company in Tractor Shop magazine a few years back.

I have only seen a couple MRS tractors, but the serial number plate was on the right hand side of the body, near the steps. That being said, I scoured my haystack of 4WD tractor pics and I think you have an A-90 or A-100. I'll try to load a pic of them once I figure out how (I am new here!)
