After a noon meal of burgers, tenderloins, fies and chili at the Warehouse in Hanna City, President billonthefarm called the meeting to order at about 12:30.

Present were billonthefarm, centralillbaler, glennster, IA Marv, John S, kruser, Nick, Nick2, oleblu, Tritowntb and Wrigley. Due to internet problems, a live simulcast could not be conducted.

oleblu presented the treasurer's report and indicated that we are still broke. We were however able to scratch enough together to pay our meal tabs.

Old business consisted of discussing our observations from YT and general tractor talk. glennster provided entertainment regarding his exploits over the past year.

New business included the discusion of making this an annual event - Date, time and location to be determined later. We forgot to elect new officers, so we'll just put up with the ones we have now for another year.

glennster drove the farthest with IA Marv and centralillbaler in 2nd and 3rd.

Will wait on the glennster for a picture of Wrigley!

Need some ID's of these people. I know Bill and that is all. Would have been there myself, but am still laid up with my leg.

Bill, you might remember my leg was swollen last Oct. when we met during the Spoon River Drive. I had surgery 3 days later and five more since then. Getting along better now, but has been a long haul. May get back to work this month I hope.

Thanks for coming up with the idea jim. It was nice to meet everybody else. A group of guys talking, tractors and farming. Not to mention some pretty darn good food. The young guy not in the pictures, his name is Dave, aka nick2.
John, we talked about you today. Darn, sorry to hear you had a bad run. Good luck on getting back on track again. Wish you could have made it today. Sounds like glennster lives pretty close to you.
Again guys, had a great time and cant wait till next time jim invites us out to lunch!

Oh man!! Wishin' I hadn't missed this event. Ifn' I had known there was a ride coming from Iowa, I might have had to hop in.... Sure missed meeting up with my ole buddy Big Jim.

btw kruser...... i did stop on the way home to check on my you know whats. important saftey tip. when checking at dusk, always take a flashlight. had to drive up to the barn to get the tongs to release the 220 bridger trap that was stuck to my boot.

Thanks guys for allowing me to join your "secret meeting" today. I felt like an outsider when I first walked in but you guys were great and made me feel like I've known you for years. I normally don't travel 90 miles to have lunch with people I've never met but I picked up a Farmall C demo in nearby Glasford and could not resist stopping by for lunch. What a great group of guys. I'm the guy in the vest and Oleblu (Oliver collector) is directly across the table from me. Billonthefarm is to my left and Kruser is to his left. I did meet Wigley, What a handsome dog. I drove through a few snowsqualls on my way back to Iowa..no challenge fo my Ford superduty. Looking forward to meeting all of you again. Marv

Woulda liked to be there, but being the responsible bidness owner that I am, I had to WORK. Maybe next year...

Thanks for the pic & goings on" at your YT get together.Be forwarned , this is just how several tractor clubs got started yrs ago. Look how great things have turned out !.
It would be great if a get together like yours could be held here in Oklahoma.
Thanks again from this former Ill. farmer. clint

Wish I could'a been there. Had to help my wife get another gold star for her Grandma card. More advance notice on the next meeting so I can schedule it in. Chris

clint, sounds like a great excuse for a "road trip". gotta get kruser busy on the logistics of that. i'm thinkin he needs to come up with a bus. we could do a whirlwind tour and have "secret" meetings all over the u.s. aint gonna let wrigley drive tho, that rascal has a lead foot!!!

John,
The first 2 in the first picture are Bill's bosses - Travis and Nick.
To the right is THE glennster and to the left is centralilbaler - Kevin.
Couple of Oliver friends - Jim (oleblu) and John from Galesburg in the second picture.
Ioweagan Marv and then billonthefarm - MIGHT be the FIRST time billonthefarm picture has been posted!

None of my bidness - But Kevin C. was able to make it over.
Maybe next year, we'll have it over Champaign way!

IaMarv, where are you at in IA? I am just outside Waverly. Me and Oleblu are buddies from several years back. Let see some pics of that Demo C. Did you pick it up from Melive at Timber Tractor Sales in Glasford? He is an uncle of another buddy of mine. I grew up in the Peoria area and know a bunch of these guys.

If a little closer I would have considered. Google said 7 hours each way, a little far. But I would have been a Michigan YT'er crashing the Illinois meet.

Rick

Glennster, Are you from the Yorkville,Il. area ? I have been lurking on here for a long time & kinda came to that concluson.
I grew up near Elgin,Il.across the road from an International Harvester exp. farm. We left that farm in 1952 .We still call the Freeport,IL. area home. Been in Mid OK. 10 yrs .

Glennster, have you been @ the body shop when Pinkie was there as he was someone I had known since late "70s from snowmobiling days, and I live just down the road near the booming metropolis of Norway or even closer Danway and just around the corner from the old IHC photo farm for you old IH people.

dave, i knew pinky for quite a few years, and bought the shop from him when he retired. i didnt work for pinky, just knew him. stop up sometime!!

gitrib

Gitrib, I have wondered how many "YT" people are here in OK.too.
Where are you located in OK? We are near Chandler ,OK.
We are 40+ miles any directon from any tractor shows . Kinda out here in middle of the shows.

I have watched several of these get togethers that started in a coffee shop grow in to a monthly thing , no shows but just a good time making new friends and " talking tractors".
I like to hear about the younger guys getting interested in our hobby. We will not be here for ever. Hope to hear from you . clint
