Guys, if you're looking for a REALLY good buy, you've got to check this out ( it sure woke me up) Gave me a good laugh too. Ebay # 120835207075 Located in Trenton N.J. Farmall MD with a starting bid of ONLY $9,999.00 and a buy it now price of $10,999.00. It's picture shows it in it's work clothes. I sure think if he sells it, that'll be where two Big FOOLS meet. I thought about contacting him to see if he wanted a really good deal on my rare 800 & 900 series fords @ 6 or 7 grand each LOL. Have a good day, Keith

My father in law has a SMTA Diesel. In perfect mechanical and sheet metal condition with bran new 16.9's on it. Has original work clothes, not new paint, but sheet metal is near perfect. I know he will let it go for that $10,999. Sure arent many of them around.

I don't know much about IH, but I DO know that I would never believe someone who claims to have a "super" without providing a serial number. For example, the difference in value between a "Super H" and an "H" is pretty significant.

A friend of mine owns a "C". When he repainted it, I bought "C" stickers. Another friend of his asked him why he didn't buy the "super C" sticker. Of course he said "because it isn't a 'Super C'". Timmy says about every "C" out there has a "Super C" sticker...

A SMDTA (super M diesel with TA) just sold in Nebraska about 40 miles from me on Big Iron Auction in its everyday clothes and ran for $10,750.

A local Friend who Died around Thanksgiving time.He was a IH Guy & wanted 1 of them ,He all ready had a 400 Diesel! Was That IH only Built them for about 9-10 Months [Super MDTA ]Before Changing the models over to 400 series tractors.

Couldn't see anything about TA on the listing. Unless I missed it, the listing says Super M Diesel. The decal on the hood says SDM. Keith

Near here a year or so ago, a nicely painted Super H TA, with Super H TA decals, sold at auction for about $9,000.

Only thing is, there is no such animal. IH never made a Super H with a TA. Somebody must have mated a Super H front with a 300 rear end and had decals custom made. Or even a plain H and called it a Super H.

Don't know if the auctioneer or buyer either one knew what went on. And there had to be more than one bidder, unless one was the auctioneer.
