Looking to trade for a diff truck gotten real sour on ford 6.0 looking at the duramax or cummins last is the 6.4 ford 3/4 ton or 1 ton any in put would be great!

Just like almost everyone else. Good luck on resale value. I'd jump to the 6.7L ford motor, but the 6.4 does seem to have better luck than the 6 L.

I have a 2008 ford F250 super duty with the twin turbo 6.4 very few problems. Lots of power 650 ft pounds or torque at 2000 rpm. 6 speed manual trans with a 4000 trailor it drives the same as it does without a trailor. Plenty of low end power. I am happy with it.

I have owned 6 new ford trucks with diesel motor 7.3 by far the best one 6 .0 piece of junk. No fuel economy on the 2008 thru 2011. My next one will be the cummins

I've got a 2007 Dodge 2500 4wd with the cummins, never had a problem with anything. Pulls a 35' camper through the mountains with no problems. It also get very good fuel mileage. Mike

Sound's like my neighbor.. He bought a 6 Litre one ton 4X4 drw for pulling his gooseneck trailers.. Dern thing lives in the Ford garage, and it's value as a trade-in is worthless... He recently bought a small semi tractor for pulling the goosenecks.
Would you like another one to keep yours company. Misery likes company,so I have heard.

6.0 and the 6.4's are terrible. Have both of them, can't wait until the lease is up on them and a 6.7, understand a lot better engine. Can't beat the 7.3 though.

The new duramax will out pull the cummins and get better fuel milage. The truck rides better and is lower to the ground,so a lot easier access.

I have owned a 7.3, 6.0, 2011 DuraMax, and a 2011 6.7 Ford. The new Duramax and 6.7 are great motors. The power is unbelievable with no modifications. The 6.7 mpg is very good. It is my favorite truck I have ever owned.

I wouldn't even waste time looking at a Ford. Duramax motors are good. I personally don't care for the independent front axle on a GM truck. I'd buy a dodge. Best power and you can still get a manual transmission. If you are buying brand new trucks, at the moment Dodge is the only one that doesn't have to have the exhaust fluid. Best looking new truck I think would be a GMC. If you are worried about the ride on a 3/4 or ton truck then sell your trailer and go buy a Catillac. Just my two cents. They are all over priced.

I just bought a 2004 f250 with a 6.0. And 3 months later I know why the previous owner traded it. It needs injectorors looks like 4000 worth of work. but when I'm done I think it will be a good truck. I hear the 6.7 is awsome I also hear that dodge has made a good truck finally but I think GM isnot much better than the 6.0

An 8 will easily out pull a 6 cylinder. The cummins is like a tractor engine i produces it's power at one RPM.A V8 produces maximum torque through the whole power range.I've owned both. The duramax will run away from the cummins on a long uphill grade.
