Over the x-mass season, I built my mom a wagon for around the yard and posted a new IHC 2-bottom plow and a JD disk harrow, along with the wagon on my website. The new items will be at the bottom of my website.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the pic's , as well feel free to leave a comment.

Well, it looks as though you are off to a good start. Good job on the wagon. The horse drawn scoop brings back memories. When I was about fourteen, Dad and I dug a basement with one of those things. Put in a lot of hours behind a horse drawn turning plow and cultivator also, breathing the sometimes modified atmosphere compliments of the horse. But that was life on the farm. Good luck on your search for the past.

We had a grain drill something like that but the seed and fertilizer boxes were wood. My job was to soak the boxes in old motor oil after we washed them out with buckets of water. Kept the cast iron and steel from rusting from the fertilizer. It had some tall steel wheels on it.

Great collection of older equipment. It's good to see a younger person taking such an interest in this stuff, I wish there were more young men about like you.

I also dabble a little in those JB / JBA JD discs and happen to have an original operator manual for it if you are interested. E-mail is open.(that's an 8' er not 9)
