674 Losing Oil pressure- again.

I have an IH 674 diesel. Couple months ago, I was losing oil pressure. Oil level was going UP, so I had the fuel injection pump seal replaced.
Now, maybe 10 hours later, I am again losing oil pressure, but the oil level is staying steady. The tractor starts fine, oil pressure immediately starts up fine, goes up to about half on the mechanical guage, but once it warms up it starts a slow, steady drop to almost nothing. If I shut it down and let it cool off, it starts back out at normal pressure again, then drops.
I also noticed a new oil leak from the smaller plate (4X6") in front of the large oil pan plate on the bottom of the tractor at the same time this problem started. The leak isn't much, maybe a teaspoon to a tablespoon a day? Could these two things be related?
Is this an oil pump problem?
I am in WI, using Rotella 15W40, and an engine block heater.

Thanks-
I'm not a great mechanic... can you tell me where the relief valve is located and what to look for?
I'm kind of at a loss here, worried this is going to be a very costly fix. :( This is my only tractor, and I need it to plow snow and feed cattle, etc.
Any shop manuals I should have? The one I have doesn't even show the oil pump.

Thanks

I would have the oil checked out. If it is okay at start up and drops when running, you could be getting a dillution of fuel. It might not show up as an engine oil gain right away, but it would eventually. Also todays oils lack quality control. They may can a lot of oil and no one ever checks a blending proportioner until it breaks down. They buy base oils on the spot market these days and there can be a huge difference between batches.

You probably need to have the oil pump checked
to make sure the relief valve isn't stuck as been mentioned. That happened on one of my supervisor's car. He had zero pressure and the lifters started to get noisy. He had a stuck relief valve. He called me at work to tell me what he found and for me to pick up another pump.
I went over to help him to install the pump. Sludge is what caused his relief to stick.

You could change to straight wt 30 oil to see if that helps. You have a heater to help preheat the engine. I had the oil pressure to drop on a Farmall A that had a complete engine rebuild. I was using 10-30 oil since I rebuilt the engine during the winter. I was plowing the garden and
I noticed the pressure dropping. I pulled out of the garden and drained the oil and installed 30 wt oil. Went back to plowing and had no more problems with oil pressure. I also use 30 wt in my garden tractor. It it get's down to zero I use a dipstick heater to heat the oil. I've had this tractor 41 years. Hal
