Maybe the start of something good

Not that I really trust ANY media, but this is kind of a nice story. I wonder if the Boston consulting firm will be correct on there predictions of the cost of Chinese goods vs American made goods by 2015.

Furniture Video

Thanks for posting that. Maybe there's hope for us (US) yet.

I assume it was the "featured video" when you posted the link- now, to find it, click on Business on the left, then on Small Business at the bottom. Its worth watching.

I watched this video this morning. It gives me a warm but hollow feeling. It is only a matter of time before the Chinese people wake up to their way of doing things and want things to be better. They are fools to expect their goverment will allow it. Chinese policy even if they do own us now is not self sustaining. Sad for the USA is that the younger set has no clue as to what working for a living is. The older set that does know this are dying off at a rapid pace, such talent lost. To often the younger set is already goverment supported and doesn't really want or need to work. I offered 12 hours of overtime just this past weekend to 6 different young people and I was turned down or they didn't show up, one turned me down because overtime would screw up his "entitlements". Myself and 2 of the "older set" worked 16 hours of OT to finish out the previous week. If jobs are coming back to the USA, is there enough people ambitious or smart enough to fill them? From what I'm seeing I'm not optimistic.

Let's build stuff here that the Chinese want!

Dangdest thing I've ever seen is that company in Georgia that makes chopsticks and ships 'em to China---billions of the things.
