Got a 12"-18" of snow overnight, sure is a change from 70 a few days ago. I guess we knew it would come.

We got 10"-12" here by Milford.

Just opened the driveway with my old Chevy 4X4 with a plow on it. I think that's the hardest I've ever worked that truck moving snow. The snow must be 90% water. Man, it was heavy.

The driveway's about 200 yards long, and the first time through was the hardest 'cause I had to take a full swath. Then I just pushed a couple feet at a time to widen it out.

I here ya Goose on how wet it is. That may be the heaviest stuff I've pused in years. It should soak up nice. We were getting awfully dry.

Was a nice balmy 40 degrees and sunny here in Sioux Falls. I saw
the first Robin of the season today also. Awful early for them.
Didn't miss not getting that white stuff for sure.

We were dark goose hunting this morning. We can't figure out if these geese are late going south or early going north. But there's about 200,000 of them on the river.
Bad luck . I came home with three. The dogs like the livers and gizzards.

We had about a foot near Hastings. Good day to use the Gnuse 3pt bucket and the front dozer blade! Heavy and wet with about .70 inches of rain before the snow.
