I have this Fewture Farmers group of kids who need a tractor. I had looked at a 10-20 Mc Cormic deereing and a farmall f-20. My promblem is which one can I get parts for if they break down plus which one would be good for the kids.I had also looked at a farmall 100 but it was taken apart and I really do not know that the group coould put it back together. Qestion to all of you experanice tractor people is which tractor would you think might be great for a fewture farmers group who need one. Thank you for you thoughts.

FFA kids are pretty smart. They could put that thing back together ,probably faster than thier teacher!F20 is probally the most common, the 100 would be easiest to transport, the 10-20(probably) the oldest.Steel wheels would save the purchace of tires, the 'mag' might be fasinating.A"start on gas,run on distillate/kerosene"tractor may be intriging.Let them decide!Any one of the 3 would be great!

Parts for both the 10-20 and F20 are not hard to come by. Used parts are plentiful and some new parts are available too. Out of the three, the 100 would be the simplest to work on and much more new parts are available for it versus the 10-20 or F20. Given all that, I still would like to see them do a 10-20 or F20.

May I have a little fun with this?

There may be only a "few" parts available for these since they are "fewture" farmers. I know you mean "future" farmers. Hope you don't mind a little humor!!!

Sorry if I offend anyone.

Don't worry about the cost of tires. Titan Tires will give the kids a set of 4 brand new ones, drop shipped to their door for FREE. The Marketing department at Titan uses these tires for advertising and there are a few rules to follow, but any kid or FFA chapter that does a tractor and displays it at a fair or show qualifies.

Depending on the year, some parts for the 10-20 might be hard to find (early multi-disc clutches come to mind....), and they'd have to learn to make some pretty big gaskets. I'd like to see them tackle the F-20 or 10-20 - BUT - the 100 has possibilities. Think of it this way - it's taken apart, so half the work is already DONE!
