respirators??

Do you folks that mix and use weed killer, bug/fly spray and dip, etc wear respirators of any kind? Got a fly spray that I mix and use for the horses that is pretty potent when you breath it or have prolonged contact with the skin..... Been using one of them paper dustmasks but still a little gets by. Any recomendations on something lightweight that seals/filters but doesn't suffocate you (I panic a little when I feel closed up)?

Thanks, Dave

Stay up-wind as much as ya can...

If you cannot keep out of it and must breath it..yep..better get one with the twin Carbon (screw-on) filters..
Those are good for most everything except painting with paint with a Hardener in it..

Ron..

Paper resporators are good for keeping June bugs out of your nose. Anything else you need to use a cartridge type resporator with pesticide canisters.

Thanks... Just found some on amazon... but not completely sure what I'm looking at. Will look local so I can get some hands on help and just buy here if it's not too far out there. Is it safe to say that if it's safe for pesticide, it'll stop weed killer also?

Thanks, Dave

Go with a respirator - dust masks are for dust.

Any one from a big-box store should suffice. No need to go crazy, just something in the $30 - $40 range.

Once you get one, you'll realize why you should have bought one long ago.
